I haven't learned how to live in the present. What happens to me all the time is getting stuck between the past and the future which results in experiencing the same emotions over and over. I wish this distracting repeating could stop at least in my dreams.
of course the question that could be asked , is how long does the present last , or does it even exist -or can the present exist without the past and future ,meaning they are all in one place ,if they are all in one place ,then you sleep in the present dream in the future of events in the past ,, being aware of that as you are miss patova i would suggest its not so much the present you haven't come to terms with , but your own poetry , writing could be the answer for getting unstuck ,,Heraclitus also made the point , that touching any object again we touch it anew ,of course when all of this is added up its what makes you an exceptional photographer -don't be in a rush to change it
